The 52nd annual Hummer's Parade steps off today in Middletown at 1 p.m. (SEE TRAFFIC DETOURS BELOW) The annual parade is not sponsored by the Town of Middletown, but is put on by residents who started the parade 50 years ago to cheer up a sick friend by parading down the streets in costumes mimicking the Mummer's Parade.
